Summer Camp Enrollment Agreement & Policies

By enrolling in Summer Camp at Melodywise School of Music, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to the terms of this  policy. Please review our cancellation policy outlined below:

Camp Attendance

Due to the limited spots available in each camp session, we cannot provide refunds for missed camp days. We encourage campers to attend all scheduled days to get the most out of the program.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • If you cancel at least two weeks before the start of your session, you will receive a 50% refund of your tuition.

  • In cases of emergencies with proper notification, we may offer a credit toward a future camp session.

​

Payment Policy

  • Payment is required upon registration to secure your child’s spot.

  • Accepted payment methods: Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, and credit card (subject to a 3.5% processing fee).

​

Late Pickup Policy

  • Pick-up is from 12 to 12:15 pm.

  • A late pickup fee of $1 per minute will be charged for any child not picked up within 15 minutes of the session ending.

  • If a parent anticipates being late, they must notify the camp as soon as possible.

Medical Emergencies

  • If a child becomes ill or injured during camp, staff will provide basic first aid.

  • In the case of a serious medical emergency, 911 will be called immediately, and parents/guardians will be notified as soon as possible.

  • Parents must provide up-to-date emergency contact information on the registration form.

Behavior Expectations

We strive to create a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for all campers.

  • Campers are expected to participate with kindness and respect toward staff and peers.

  • Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in dismissal from camp without a refund.

Media Release

By enrolling your child, you grant Melodywise School of Music permission to photograph or record camp activities for promotional use on social media, websites, and advertising materials.

  • If you do not consent, please notify us in writing before the start of camp.​

​

Release of Liability

Participation in camp activities involves some risk. By registering, you agree to release and hold harmless Melodywise School of Music and its staff from any liability for injury or property damage incurred during camp activities, including off-campus lunch outings.

Privacy Policy

We respect your family’s privacy. Personal information collected for registration is used solely for camp administration and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

Private Students Enrollment Agreement & Policies

By enrolling in lessons at Melodywise School of Music, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to the terms of this cancellation policy. Please review our cancellation policy outlined below:

1. Rescheduling Lessons: Scheduled lessons cannot be canceled, but may be rescheduled for any reason with at least 24-hour notice. Same-day rescheduling requests may be accommodated based on availability. Please note that no-shows are not eligible for rescheduling. It is the responsibility of the student or parent to reschedule any missed lessons within the current payment cycle. For in-home lessons, rescheduled sessions will take place at the studio unless otherwise agreed.​ Regularly scheduled lessons cannot be used as make up lessons. Rescheduling is only available for private lessons. All group programs are excluded.

2. Termination of Services: If a student decides to discontinue lessons, we require a 30-day written notice to allow for schedule adjustments. Payments for any remaining lessons within the current billing cycle are non-refundable.

​3. Notification: Students must submit written notifications of rescheduling requests or termination via text at (863) 296 - 5221.​

​

4. Teacher Rescheduling: In the rare event that we need to cancel a lesson, we will provide as much notice as possible and provide a make-up lesson at a mutually convenient time.

​

5. Payment Policy: All payments are due by the 7th of each month. Our accepted methods are: Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, or credit card (+3.5% fee). A $15 late fee will apply to any payments made after the 7th. Lessons are sold on a monthly basis only, with no individual lesson sales. Invoices will be sent out on the first of each month, with the payment reflecting four or five sessions depending on the number of weeks in the month.

6. Student Expectations: To make meaningful progress, students are expected to practice a minimum of 60 minutes per week outside of lessons. Additionally, each student pledges to approach lessons with respect and a willingness to learn, doing their best to engage fully in each session.

7. Release of Liability: By participating in any lessons, workshops, or activities at Melodywise School of Music, I hereby release and hold harmless Melodywise School of Music, its instructors, and staff from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, property damage, or loss arising out of or related to participation in any programs. I acknowledge that participation is voluntary and assume all risks associated with these activities.

8. Media Release Agreement: I hereby grant permission for Melodywise School of Music to take photographs, video, or audio recordings of me/my child during lessons, workshops, or events. I authorize the use of these media for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, brochures, and other advertising materials. I understand that these images and recordings may be used without further compensation and that I may withdraw this consent in writing at any time.

9. Privacy Policy: Melodywise School of Music is committed to protecting the privacy of our students and their families. Any personal information collected, including contact details, payment information, and media consent, is used solely for the purpose of administering lessons, processing payments, and promoting the school as outlined in our Media Release Agreement. We do not share personal information with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

All digital communications and payment methods are conducted through secure platforms, and any stored information is kept confidential and accessible only to authorized personnel. By enrolling in our programs, you consent to our use and storage of your information in accordance with this policy.
