Private Students Enrollment Agreement & Policies
By enrolling in lessons at Melodywise School of Music, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to the terms of this cancellation policy. Please review our cancellation policy outlined below:
1. Lesson Commitment:
At Melodywise, we believe consistency is key to musical growth. We kindly ask that all students commit to one private lesson per week to hold their spot on the schedule.
2. Tuition Policies:

To keep things simple and transparent, tuition is adjusted based on the number of weeks in each month. Most months will include 4 lessons, while some will include 5, depending on the calendar.

Monthly tuition is due on the 1st of each month and will reflect the number of weeks in the month.

Beginning June 2025, a $25 late fee per student will be applied for payments received after the 1st.

To avoid registration or administrative fees, we will not send payment reminders starting in June 2025 — except for families who have opted for credit card billing, in which case monthly requests will be automatically issued.
We encourage all families to mark their calendars and ensure timely payment to avoid late fees.

​4. Holiday Policy:
We value family time and special occasions. The studio will be closed and lessons will not be billed on the following holidays:

Easter Sunday

Mother’s Day

Thanksgiving Day

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
For all other holidays or travel days, students may choose to reschedule or attend their scheduled lesson remotely via Zoom.

5. Rescheduling Policy:
We understand that life happens. Lessons may be rescheduled for any reason with at least 24 hours' notice.

Same-day rescheduling may be possible depending on availability.

No-shows are not eligible for rescheduling.

Make-up lessons must be completed within the current payment cycle.

Regular weekly lesson slots are reserved and may not be used to make up for missed sessions.

In-home students will have make-up lessons at the studio, unless otherwise agreed upon.

In the event of inclement weather, lessons may be taken remotley or rescheduled.

6. Discontinuing Lessons:
Should you need to take a break from lessons, we ask for a 30-day written notice. This helps us manage the schedule and offer the spot to another student.

7. Notifications:
All rescheduling and withdrawal notices must be sent via text to (863) 296-5221.

8. Teacher Cancellations:
If your instructor needs to cancel for any reason, you will be notified as early as possible. A make-up lesson will be arranged at a mutually convenient time.
9. Student Expectations:
To ensure growth and confidence in their playing, students are encouraged to:

Practice at least 60 minutes per week outside of lessons

Arrive on time, prepared, and with a positive attitude

Show respect for their time, teacher, and instrument
10. Release of Liability:
By participating in lessons or events at Melodywise School of Music, you agree to release the school and its staff from liability related to injury, property damage, or loss. Participation is voluntary, and all risks are assumed by the student and/or guardian.

11. Media Release:
Photos, videos, or recordings taken during lessons or events may be used for promotional purposes (e.g., social media, website, flyers). No compensation will be provided. Families may opt out by submitting a written request.
12. Privacy Policy:
We respect and protect your privacy. Personal information is used only for administering lessons, processing payments, and marketing as agreed to in the media release.

All data is stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel.

Art Camp Enrollment Agreement & Policies
By enrolling in Summer Camp at Melodywise School of Music, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to the terms of this policy. Please review our cancellation policy outlined below:
Camp Attendance & Cancellation:
Due to the limited spots available in each camp session, we cannot provide refunds or cancellations for missed camp days. We encourage campers to attend all scheduled days to get the most out of the program.​ In cases of emergencies with proper notification, we may offer a credit toward a future camp session.

Payment Policy

Payment is required upon registration to secure your child’s spot.

Accepted payment methods: Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, and credit card (subject to a 3.5% processing fee).

Late Pickup Policy

Pick-up is from 12 to 12:15 pm.

A late pickup fee of $1 per minute will be charged for any child not picked up within 15 minutes of the session ending.

If a parent anticipates being late, they must notify the camp as soon as possible.

Medical Emergencies

If a child becomes ill or injured during camp, staff will provide basic first aid.

In the case of a serious medical emergency, 911 will be called immediately, and parents/guardians will be notified as soon as possible.

Parents must provide up-to-date emergency contact information on the registration form.

Behavior Expectations
We strive to create a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for all campers.

Campers are expected to participate with kindness and respect toward staff and peers.

Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may result in dismissal from camp without a refund.

Media Release
By enrolling your child, you grant Melodywise School of Music permission to photograph or record camp activities for promotional use on social media, websites, and advertising materials.

If you do not consent, please notify us in writing before the start of camp.​

Release of Liability
Participation in camp activities involves some risk. By registering, you agree to release and hold harmless Melodywise School of Music and its staff from any liability for injury or property damage incurred during camp activities, including off-campus lunch outings.

Privacy Policy
We respect your family’s privacy. Personal information collected for registration is used solely for camp administration and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
